Phnom Penh Motor Park Grand Opening
On September 14, 2025, Phnom Penh Motor Park officially opened at the Morodok Techo National Stadium complex. Cambodia Car Culture was there to help launch the country's first dedicated motorsport venue.
The day featured drift demonstrations from some of Cambodia's best drivers. Our orange Nissan Silvia S13 and the red-and-white 240SX with the Cambodia livery both hit the track, along with BMWs, a Mercedes C63, and a Nissan 350Z convertible. The RWB Porsches made an appearance too -- the black-and-gold 993 "Big Boss" and the mint green 997 "Bella" drew crowds in the paddock and put on a show on the tarmac.
It was not just cars. Motorcycle stunt riders entertained the crowd with wheelies and slides, and the scooter stunts got some of the biggest reactions of the day. A rider walked away with a table full of trophies by the end of it.
The weather added drama. Dark storm clouds rolled in through the afternoon, and by evening the track was wet -- which only made the drifting more spectacular. The C63 cutting through standing water under its own headlights was one of the best shots of the day.
Tea Siam emceed the event, introducing drivers and talking the crowd through the action. VIP guests and sponsors came through, and the Phnom Penh Motor Park arch became the backdrop for the day's celebrations.
This venue is a milestone for Cambodian car culture. A proper, dedicated space for motorsport in the capital. For everyone who has been building cars, organizing events, and growing the scene -- this is what it was all building toward.
